Set of 3 Antique Hand-Blown Gin / Schnapps Bottles – 19th Century Olive Green Glass

This striking set of three antique gin or schnapps bottles was discovered hidden inside the wall of a 19th-century home. Each bottle is hand-blown, showing the beautiful irregularities and character typical of mid-to-late 1800s glassmaking. The deep olive-green color and squared shape are classic to gin and cordial bottles imported from Europe during that era — possibly Dutch or English origin (brands such as DeKuyper or Bols).

Each bottle is slightly different, reflecting hand production techniques. Bases show vent dots and smooth pontil-like marks from the mold. All three have visible age, roughness, and chips, especially around the lips and base edges — adding to their authentic antique charm.

Details:

  • Color: Olive to green glass (varies slightly by bottle)

  • Hand-blown, no machine seams

  • Cork-style tops (pre-screw cap era)

  • Characteristic ripples, bubbles, and asymmetry from early mold-blown glass

  • Found in the wall of a 19th-century home (unique provenance)

  • Condition: Chips on all bottles, wear consistent with age; display beautifully

These bottles are perfect for antique displays, rustic bar décor, photography props, or collectors of early glass. Their color and authentic wear make them an evocative piece of 19th-century craftsmanship.

Approximate sizes: graduated set – small, medium, large.
